šŸ’˜ If We’re Staying In, We’re Doing It Big

First of all, if I am at home on Valentine’s Day, I am not acting normal about it.

Absolutely not.

You think I’m going to let Valentine’s just quietly pass by like it’s a regular day?

Please.

If there is even the faintest excuse for pink, red, chocolate, candles, glitter, and fully committed joyful behavior…I’m taking it.

I don’t need reservations.
I don’t need a five-course meal.
I don’t even need real plans.

But I will be wearing the cutest Valentine’s pajamas I could find on Amazon (linked here because yes, we are that level of prepared).

And because I believe in transparency and sprinkles that link is an affiliate link. Which just means if you decide you also need heart-covered pajamas in your life, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you…and I will absolutely use it to fund more festive behavior.

You’re welcome.

Because here’s the truth:

Valentine’s is not just about romance. It’s about commitment to the bit.

And I am deeply committed.

šŸ« The Sweetheart Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is not a dainty dessert.

This is not something you slice neatly and serve with a fork while discussing your day.

This is a:

  • Bake it in a skillet
  • Drop a giant scoop of ice cream in the center
  • Shower it in pink and red sprinkles
  • Hand out spoons
  • Maintain eye contact while taking a bite
  • Dessert.

It is warm.
It is gooey.
It is downright decadent.

And it has absolutely ZERO chill. Which is exactly the energy we’re bringing.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips (measure with your heart)
  • Pink & red sprinkles (don’t be stingy)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix melted butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla. Stir like you mean business.
  4. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips generously.
  6. Press dough into a greased small skillet.
  7. Cover with sprinkles. LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
  8. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden around the edges and soft in the center.

Then…and this is important…serve it with SASS!

Top with:

  • A reckless scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • More sprinkles
  • Chocolate drizzle if you’re feeling frisky

Eat it straight from the skillet.

No plates.
No modesty.
No restraint.

Listen. Life is serious enough. If Valentine’s Day gives me permission to wear pink pajamas, light every candle in sight, and eat a skillet cookie straight from the pan?

I’m taking it.

Be extra.

On purpose. šŸ’˜āœØ
