🙏Holy Giggles & Group Chats: A Devotional on Friendship (With Snacks)

Some people say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but I’m pretty sure it’s the one who shows up with queso when your life is in shambles. Or the one who texts, “You okay?” at 11:13 p.m. because they felt your vibe shift from miles away.

Friendship is sacred. And also a little chaotic. But in the best way.

“Two are better than one… if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
(Translation: She falls apart, I bring cookies.)

God knew what He was doing when He gave us friends. People who know your full story but still love you. People who remind you who you are when you forget. People who send you memes and Bible verses in the same text thread like, “Here’s Jesus and a llama in a wig. Love you.”

Friendship isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about showing up, being real, forgiving fast, and laughing at inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else but feel like home to you.

It’s about yelling “I’m outside!” instead of ringing the doorbell.
It’s about sitting in silence but somehow still saying everything.
It’s about ugly crying, ugly laughing, and not being judged for either.

And when it’s rooted in faith? Whew. That’s when the magic really happens. Because you’re not just friends—you’re spiritual hype-women, grace distributors, and backup prayer warriors with snacks.

So if you’ve got a friend like that, thank God today. And if you’re still waiting on your people, don’t worry—He hasn’t forgotten you. He’s probably just hand-selecting someone extra fabulous who also cries during worship music and keeps emergency chocolate in their purse.

Remember: Friendship is honey. Life’s just the toast.

Happy Sunday,

Natalie🩷🙏
