šŸ’¦Hot Flashes & Other Love Letters from MenopausešŸ’Œ

Because aging is a glow-up… with a few sweaty plot twists.

Let’s be real. Aging is a beautiful thing. We’ve been shouting it from the blog rooftops—feeling fabulous, glowing up at 57, twirling through Target in leopard print with zero shame. BUT (and there’s always a but)—sometimes the glow is actually a hot flash.

Yep. It’s time we talk about the less glamorous side of growing up: Menopause. Cue the dramatic music. And maybe a portable fan.

ā˜€ļø The Hot Flash Chronicles

You know that cute dewy look? Menopause said, ā€œLet’s make it sweaty instead.ā€ One minute you’re fine, and the next you’re melting like a forgotten Frosty in July. I’ve started dressing in layers so I can strip like I’m starring in a Hallmark striptease called ā€œLove in the Time of Estrogen Decline.ā€

😠 Mood Swing Bingo

Will I cry? Will I scream? Will I clean out the entire garage and then cry about the garage? Who knows—it’s Menopause Roulette, baby. My emotions have the range of a Broadway star and the unpredictability of a toddler with a juice box.

šŸ’¤ Insomnia, My Old Friend

Tired during the day. Wide awake at night. My body apparently thinks it’s preparing for a vampire lifestyle.
I’ve had 2 a.m. conversations with the ceiling fan that were deeply therapeutic.

šŸæ ā€œWait, Why Did I Come in Here?ā€

Menopause brain fog is like opening 27 browser tabs… and not remembering why you opened any of them.
I’ve walked into the kitchen with purpose and walked out with a banana, nail polish remover, and no memory of the original mission.

But Here’s the Truth…

For all the chaos, weirdness, and seriously, why are my knees making that noise—this stage of life is powerful. I’m learning to love myself deeper, laugh harder, and embrace every awkward, sweaty, sleep-deprived second. This is not the end. This is not the fade-out. This is the sparkly sequel. Menopause may not be cute—but I sure am.

Stay spicy, stay sparkly, and never trust a quiet hot flash.

With love (and a portable fan),
