My Go-To Scripture When I’m Feeling Motivated

You know that feeling when you wake up and something just clicks? The coffee tastes better, the playlist hits harder, and suddenly you’re organizing closets or plotting how to finally launch that side hustle. Yeah, that kind of energy. When I’m riding that wave of motivation, I always circle back to one scripture that feels like rocket fuel for my spirit:

“Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord, not for people.” — Colossians 3:23

This one keeps me focused. It reminds me that the effort I put in — whether I’m writing, creating, cleaning, or just showing up for others — isn’t just about ticking boxes. It’s about heart. It’s about purpose. It’s about doing what I do with intention, excellence, and a bit of pizzazz (because I’m me).

When I feel that motivated buzz, I don’t want to waste it. I want to build something that matters — something that lasts longer than the to-do list. (or LISTS in my case) And Colossians 3:23 helps me do just that. It re-centers me. It keeps my work soulful, not just productive.

So whether I’m batch-writing blog content, brainstorming Etsy designs with my girls, or folding laundry like a warrior, I whisper this verse to myself as a little holy pep talk: “All your heart, girl. Do it with all your heart.”

What scripture gives you that fire when you’re in go-mode? Let’s share the motivation and keep each other lifted?

Happy Sunday!

Natalie
